Will Petty is a financial advisor with Golden Mack & Associates. Prior to joining the firm, Will spent 6 years working with small to mid-sized business owners to implement and service their company sponsored retirement plans. In addition to retirement plans for small to mid sized businesses, Will also focuses on young to mid-career professionals, or HENRY’s (High Earners, Not Rich Yet), who are facing increasing planning needs. He prides himself in gaining a deep understanding of what his clients goals are and creates easy to follow gameplans to help achieve those goals efficiently.
Will’s passion for helping others, his empathy, and compassion shine through and have blessed him with many lifelong relationships. He takes great pride in making sure each client receives the highest level of care possible while keeping their goals top of mind.
Will is a graduate of the Martha Love School of Business at Elon University where he received his degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration. Will currently holds his Series 6, 63 and 65 securities registrations.
Will currently lives in Harrisburg, NC with his wife, Lauren, and two kids, Connor and Katelyn. When he is not working with his clients, Will enjoys spending time cheering on the Panthers and sampling the local craft breweries with friends and family. An avid outdoorsman, he can also be found fishing, boating, or relaxing on the dock at Smith Mountain Lake.
